FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM
Our application to utilize the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) food program has been approved by KSDE. By utilizing this program, we will be able to provide free lunch and breakfast meals to all USD 227 students. Students must be enrolled at USD 227 to take advantage of this program.
Effective September 17, 2020, all USD 227 students will receive free breakfast and lunch meals. We will not be delivering food, but students utilizing Remote Learning may call the Grade School or High School Office by 8:30 am each morning to request a meal. Meals may be picked up between 12:30 and 1:00 in the office of your child's school.
This program is scheduled to end on December 18, 2020 or until available Federal Funding runs out. We will work hard to notify parents in a timely manner when we have to move back to charging for meals. Please note this is not retroactive so if you have a lunch balance it is still due.
