Notice of Breakfast and Lunch Protocol

Students, Parents & Patrons of USD #227:

Beginning Monday, March 30th, our district will be providing grab and go breakfasts and lunches through the end of the school term (May 13 or until we are notified by KSDE child Nutrition that the program will cease).

We WILL NOT be serving meals on April 10, April 13 or April 20.

All meals are free to any child ages 1-18 regardless of income status or residency status. Children must be present in the car to receive meals. We will not provide meals to adults requesting more than the amount of children with them.

The protocol will be as follows:

In Jetmore - curbside pick up at the elementary school. Children must be present in the vehicle to verify number of meals to be provided. Walk-ups are also welcome.

West of town you can pick up at Ron Wilson's. Children must be present in the vehicle to verify number of meals to be provided.

North of town you can pick up at the school house on V Rd. Children must be present in the vehicle to verify number of meals to be provided.

East of town you can pick up at Elk Plaza in Hanston Children must be present in the vehicle to verify number of meals to be provided. Walk-ups are also welcome.

South of town you can pick up at D Rd. Children must be present in the vehicle to verify number of meals to be provided.

Serving Days - Monday and Wednesday Mar. 30th-April 9th & April 27th-May13th ; Tuesday and Thursday April 13th-24th (Due to Easter).

Serving time will be from 10 a.m - 11 a.m. in all locations.

You will be provided breakfast and lunch for two days on Monday and three days on Wednesday.

You will need to text or email Christina Cohoon @ 620-878-3444 or cohoon90@gmail.com and let her know your name and how many children need meals.  Please contact her no later than Fridays @ noon to be counted for meals the following week.

These meals are provided specifically to help you during this time. This is something new to us so please be patient as we work out the kinks the first few days.
