RYDQUIST WINS 2020 HODGEMAN COUNTY SPELLING BEE

44 contestants, grades 4-8, competed in the 2020 Hodgeman County Spelling Bee on Friday, Feb. 7th in the Hodgeman County HS Auditorium. Hazen Rydquist won first place and was declared the Hodgeman County Champion. Casey Schaffer was the runner-up, receiving second place; followed by Amaya Diehl, third place; Caitlin Channell, fourth place; Jonathan Medina, fifth place, and Aylah Kolb, sixth place.
Hazen will represent Hodgeman County in the 2020 Sunflower Spelling Bee, at 9:00 AM, Saturday, March 21st, at Newman University in Wichita, Kansas.
