FORENSICS SEASON DRAWING TO A CLOSE

The 2015 forensics season is almost over and the team is looking forward to state competition on May 2nd in Salina.  This year has been a successful one as the team took home top honors at every meet they attended.  Tournament Results: Satanta 2nd, WaKeeney 2nd, Lakin 1st, Ransom 3rd, Claflin 1st, Hosington 4th, Spearville 2nd, South Gray 1st, Thomas Moore Prep 2nd, Dodge City 2nd, SPIAA League 1st.  As individuals medalists HCHS brought home 121 medals in all.  As the current 1A State Champ title holder, Hodgeman County had 27 entries qualify for state championships, therefore the coaches had the difficult task this week of selecting 12 entries to take to competition in Salina.

For the next two weeks, students are practicing and polishing performances for the Forensics Showcases and state competition the first weekend of May.  Everyone is invited to attend one (or all) of the showcases to catch what all of these talented students are doing.  There will be three showcases to raise money($3.00 admission) for the state trip.  On Thursday, April 23rd and Tuesday, April 28th at 6:30 PM ONLY the students who will attend champs will perform AT THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.  On Sunday, April 26th ALL of the students will perform at the Hodgeman County High School.  Everybody is encouraged to come out and support the 2015 Forensics Team at the showcases and at state.  We love an audience!
